Several business will be offering some deals or free stuff to past and present military personnel on November 11th for Veterans Day.  These can be really cool deals for active duty and veterans. I live in a a city that has a large population of active duty military and veterans so some of theses places can get quite packed. I think I’ve only cashed in on one of these deals once and it was for a free car wash. If you qualify and want to know who has the Veterans day hook up, then here you go. These are just some of the many places that are offering deals on Veterans Day and some local Colorado deals at the end for my fellow Colorado vets.

Proof

Some locations might go off the honor system and just believe you when you say your a veteran. Some may want proof though. Here are some examples of valid proof that some locations may want to see.

  • Military ID Card (active/reserve/retired)
  • Veteran Affairs (VA) ID card
  • Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
  • Valid drivers licence with military affiliation designation
  • Photograph of you in uniform
  • Be in Uniform (If active)
  • Veterans Organization Card (e.g., American Legion and VFW)
  • DD214
  • Discharge paperwork

 

Denny’s

  Free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Nov. 11 from 5 a.m.- noon for active, inactive and retired military personnel with a valid military ID.

Golden Corral

 Free meal and beverage to veterans, retired, active duty, National Guard or Reserves from 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Outback Steakhouse

 Free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage to all those showing valid military ID on Nov. 11.

Outback is also offering its “Military Mates” program for all active or retired military members and their families with 15 percent off all checks from Nov. 12-Dec. 31.

Outback is also offering Veterans Day Rain Check for deployed service men and women. By registering at Outback.com/Military between Nov. 1 – Dec. 31, 2015, deployed military personnel will receive a voucher for a Free Bloomin’ Onion via email, which they can redeem by presenting their printed Rain Check, along with valid military ID, at participating U.S. Outback Steakhouses in 2016.

Little Caesar’s Pizza

 Free pizza or a $5 Hot N Ready Lunch Combo to all veterans and active military members on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse

Deal: Free lunch on Nov. 11 for active, retired and former U.S. military. Choose from one of 10 entries and beverage. Guests must show proof of service such as military or VA card, or discharge papers.

Applebee’s

Free meal Nov. 11 for all veterans and active-duty service members. Choose from 7 entrees, drink not included.

Hooters

Free meal for active-duty and retired military personnel on Nov. 11. Also, guests are invited to purchase a 2016 Hooters calendar for a member of the U.S. military stationed overseas.

Olive Garden

Free entrée on Nov. 11 for all veterans and active duty military. All those dining with the veteran will receive 10 percent off their meal.

Red Lobster

Free appetizer or dessert for veterans and active duty from Nov. 9-12.

Red Robin

Free Red Tavern’s Double and Bottomless Steak Fries Nov. 11 for all guests with military ID.

Carraba’s

Free appetizer of your choice for active duty service members and veterans from Nov. 9-Nov. 15.

TGI Fridays

Free lunch for military members and veterans Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Chili’s

Free meal for all military veterans on Nov. 11. Beverage and gratuity not included.

Arby’s

1 FREE Roast Beef Classic Sandwich on Veterans Day Wednesday, 11/11/2015 at participating locations during normal business hours.

IHOP

On Veteran’s Day, participating IHOP Restaurants around the nation will be honoring the brave men and women who have served, or are serving, in the United States Military by offering them free Red, White and Blue pancakes. At some locations, the Red, White and Blue pancakes will be featured as part of a free combo plate including eggs, bacon and hashed browns.

On The Border

Free meal on Wednesday, Nov. 11th, ’15. The meal is from the”Create Your Own Combo menu,” which is a “choose 2” or “choose 3” menu.

Panera Bread

1 free You Pick 2 for Veterans and Active Duty members on Nov. 11, 2015 on Veterans Day at participating locations. Bring proof of service.

Village Inn

Free breakfast any time of day (choice of three menu items). Veterans will also receive a “Thank You for Your Service Card” valid for 20% off their total bill on their next visit when they dine at Village Inn on Veterans Day. Participating locations only.

Tony Roma’s

Free half rack Baby Back Ribs at select Florida locations. Valid at select locations only. Please call ahead to verify participation.

StarBucks

Free tall brewed coffee for active duty, veterans, and their spouses. Participating stores only.

Perkin’s Restaurant & Bakeries

Free Magnificent Seven meal at participating locations. Beverage not included. Call ahead to verify participation.

Fox & the Hound

Free Sandwich or Entree (up to $10). Dine-in and participating locations only.

Whitecastle

Veterans to receive free breakfast slider and small coffee or small soft drink on Veterans Day.


Free Car Wash

There are a ton of locations offering a free car wash to Active duty military and veterans. For a list of participating location click HERE. You can filter the results by state.


Free Haircut

Great Clips – On Nov. 11, come in for a haircut and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran.  And of course, all veterans get a free haircut or a free haircut card to use by the end of the year on Veterans Day.

Some local Colorado deals

Broadmoor Resort – From Nov. 1st, 2015, through Feb. 29th, 2016, Veterans and Active Duty Military will receive a discounted stay at Broadmoor Resort, which includes 2 nights’ accommodations, 20% off of golf fees in November, OR complimentary golf during December, January, and February, and a $50 resort credit. Rates will start at $105 per person, and are based on double occupancy.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife – Free admission to Colorado State Parks for all Veterans and Active Military on Veterans Day 11-11-15.

The Lodge Casino – The Lodge will offer a free meal at Seasons Buffet on November 11th to all active and retired military. Valid ID required.

Twin Peaks – Offering a free menu item for Veterans and active duty military from their annual Veterans Day menu on Wednesday 11/11/15. Present valid military ID to receive offer.
